Uni-T Leeb UT347A Hardness Tester
The Uni-T Leeb UT347A hardness tester is a portable and accurate device for measuring hardness using the Leeb method, designed for field use and for testing large components such as turbines, pressure vessels, and shafts. It supports 6 hardness scales (HL, HB, HRC, HRB, HV, HS) and tensile strength, offers 5 impact directions, and features automatic probe recognition without calibration. Built-in memory for 900 data sets, a 640×480 camera, Bluetooth with a mobile app and PC software, and a thermal printer make it easy to record and analyze measurements. The entire unit is housed in a compact casing with a clear, 2.8″ color TFT screen and powered by a high-capacity battery.
Measurement precision and flexibility
The device works with various probe types (up to 7), allowing you to adapt them to the material and measurement conditions, while automatic probe identification eliminates the risk of errors during changes. Several operating modes—statistics, multi-unit, line graph, and histogram—translate into better quality control, as the user sees not only the result but also its distribution. Overrange alarms and LED indicators help respond quickly to deviations. The UT347A also offers Bluetooth and USB connectivity, making it easy to transfer results to an app or computer, while thermal printing allows you to generate a report on-site immediately. Adjustable backlighting, voice prompts, and an LED flashlight enhance comfort when working in challenging conditions. The 2500 mAh battery provides several hours of operation, and the auto-off feature helps conserve energy.
