The DDPAI IPS Hardwire Kit is an accessory that allows you to connect the dashcam directly to the vehicle’s fuse box, providing access to 24/7 parking monitoring. Thanks to intelligent vehicle status detection, the camera automatically switches to time-lapse recording at a rate of 1 frame per second when the engine is turned off. The kit supports an input voltage of 12–24 V DC and provides an output voltage of 5 V at a current of 1 A or 2 A, depending on the dashcam’s requirements. Additionally, a five-level security system protects the connected equipment and the vehicle’s electrical system.

24/7 monitoring and intelligent battery protection

The DDPAI IPS Hardwire Kit uses a combination of ACC and constant power, allowing the dashcam to automatically adapt its operation to the vehicle’s status. When the engine is turned off, the camera switches to time-lapse mode, recording one frame per second, which allows you to monitor the vehicle’s surroundings while parked with minimal memory usage. The kit also allows you to set a low-voltage threshold to tailor protection to the battery’s needs. When the voltage drops below the selected value, power to the dashcam is automatically cut off, which helps prevent excessive battery drain and problems starting the car.

Five-Level Protection System

The DDPAI IPS Hardwire Kit offers five levels of protection that enhance safety during everyday use. Overload protection automatically cuts off the power supply when a set current limit is exceeded, while overcurrent protection properly distributes the current, preventing damage caused by excessive current. The built-in short-circuit protection circuit cuts off the power supply in the event of an output short circuit and restores it once the problem is resolved. The kit also protects against low battery voltage and incorrect wire connections. In the event of an incorrect connection, power will be cut off and automatically restored once the connection is corrected.

Durable Construction and Discreet Installation

The DDPAI IPS Hardwire Kit connects directly to the vehicle’s fuse box using the ACC and constant power wires. The compact housing makes it easy to install the module discreetly in the vehicle. It is made of durable, flame-retardant ABS plastic, and the wires feature a 22 AWG pure copper core, ensuring high electrical conductivity. The materials used also feature good thermal conductivity, and the entire design has been tested for resistance to extreme temperatures, deformation, tension, and aging. As a result, this accessory will perform well under the demanding conditions of everyday use.
