The ICUSB2324852 2-Port USB to RS232 RS422 RS485 Serial Adapter with Communication Port Memory lets you connect all types of serial devices to your USB-enabled computer for RS232, RS422, or RS485 communication. The adapter features a 9-pin male serial connector (DB9) and a 5-pin serial terminal block, as well as DIP switch controls for easy port configuration. In addition, it requires minimal software installation. It also supports 2 ports at a time, including mixed protocols, such as RS-232 on port 1 and RS-485 on port 2, or many other combinations.
For convenient and clean installation in the office or industrial environment, the USB RS232/RS422/RS485 adapter mounts to the wall. It is fully powered by the host's USB connection and in turn powers the connected serial device without the need for an external power adapter.
