Equip's 11943x Series Active Optical Cable (AOC) is a cabling technology that accepts the same electrical inputs as a traditional copper cable, but uses optical fiber between the connectors to extend HDMI signals without loss or latency. Our hybrid cable is composed of optical fibers and copper wires. High-speed TMDS signals are transmitted via the multimode optical fibers, while low-frequency control signals are transmitted via the copper wires. The range of active optical wires allows you to achieve distances of up to 100 meters without signal quality loss or the need for a separate power supply.
