Four non-slip rubber pads prevent the laptop from sliding and prevent scratches on the bottom. Variable-height bumpers on the tray prevent the laptop from sliding at steeper angles. Optional padded arms can be removed to support any thickness of laptop at the expense of the stand when used at steeper angles.
