The FRITZ!Powerline 1220E transforms any power outlet into a fast and secure Gigabit network connection. With Gigabit Powerline speeds up to 1200 Mbps and the latest 2x2 MIMO technology, you benefit from significantly more robust connections, greater range, and higher data throughput. This allows the powerline adapter to handle demanding applications throughout your house or apartment.

The FRITZ!Powerline 1220E reliably and quickly connects network devices such as computers, TVs, and game consoles, even over long distances, within your home network. The adapter features two high-speed Gigabit LAN ports. Connecting via your existing electrical wiring eliminates the need for long distances and overcomes obstacles like walls and ceilings. Unlike 500 and 200 Mbps Powerline adapters, the FRITZ!Powerline 1220E offers significantly higher transmission capacity and more robust connections, all while maintaining high energy efficiency. This allows for the simultaneous use of multiple high-speed applications.
High-performance 2x2 MIMO technology
The FRITZ!Powerline 1220E is ideal for high-speed network applications such as HD video streaming (including 3D), fast internet connections, online gaming, internet TV, NAS connectivity, and video on demand. Even over long distances, transmission quality remains unaffected. By utilizing two pairs of wires simultaneously, 2x2 MIMO technology provides up to 60% greater range within the power supply network, resulting in significantly more stable connections and raw data rates of up to 1200 Mbps. If two pairs of wires cannot be used simultaneously, the pair offering the best transmission diversity (diversity) will be automatically selected to ensure robust powerline transmission.

Simply install the FRITZ!Powerline 1220E at the desired location by plugging it into a power outlet and connecting it to the device you wish to network. Then, with the push of a button, add the adapter to the Powerline network. The connection, secured by individual AES-128 bit encryption, is automatically established. The FRITZ!Powerline 1220E is compatible with current 1200, 500, and 200 Mbps devices. Updates are easily performed via the FRITZ!Powerline software or the FRITZ!Box user interface.
